I posted a question asking about the install of Lxle.  A little about myself...

I am 72 years old.  I bought my first computer in about 1994.  It was a Mac Color Classic. I have upgraded it many times and it can still go on the internet, but I can not send or receive email on it (yet). Sometime around 1985 or 1986 I bought an IBM PC XT.  I ran a dial up BBS on the FIDO network soon after that.  My modem was 300/1200 bps.  Wow!  So slow back in the day.  I have installed Ubuntu on a few computers in the past and like it.  I was gifted an old HP "All in one" computer (I just hate the all in one computers).  I am trying to refurbish it and give it to a student who can use it.  My hobbies are botany and old time motion picture movie film photography.  I do mostly 16mm move film but some Super8, a little bit of 8mm and a little bit of 35mm.  I moderate a users group on optical sound - an old time crappy sound format used from the 1930s to about the mid 1960s.  I live in Oregon, USA.
